Title: YJ spring ?
Post by: elf on March 15, 2010, 08:57:35 PM
picked up a set of wrangler springs for the rear of my Sammy. 5 pack and four pack my question is are the springs the same length no matter what pack they are. one of the 5 packs has a broken spring eye so was going to build a 6 pack spring using the 4 pack main spring. O ya got a good buy on them for only $30.

springs are the same length.
I made my six packs by cutting off the eyes on a set, should work great for ya.

you are welcome ... Here are some pics too...
I took the 5 pack rear Jeep springs and installed them all the way around on the Zuki. I wanted a bit more lift so I took the main spring (the one with the eye) out of all the four leaf spring packs. Cut the eyes off and installed them into the 5 pack springs make them a 6 pack....

yeah, rides not too bad.... It had 2" lifted Bonz-Eye springs already on it when I bought it and those were really stiff.
