my front diff mount broke(the one that attaches to the side of the diff) the whole ear broke off now it moves front to back and its making the transfercase leak gear oil bad. what should i do? can that piece be re-welded back on? can you make a new bracket? i dont know on this one.and why would it break?

If you know somebody that welds aluminum you might be able to fix it. A better deal might be to just replace the front diff.

That is the infamous weak spot of a tracker! The best bet but not nessecarily the cheapest is to replace the aluminum housing and third with a cast housing and third from an XL-7 I believe. You can have it repared but it will happen again I imagine! They usually break under load in reverse!

Can also replace with Toyota front diff, but that will require raising the engine 3/4"
