Title: help switching to manual locking hubs
Post by: michael6189 on December 10, 2008, 09:35:21 PM: i have a 1995 suzuki sidekick jx 1.6l with auto locking hubs and i want to switch to manual locking hubs

what kinds are good and how hard is it to do theres a checker wuto parts close to where i live and they have WARN and SUPERWINCH just wonder how to do it ?how hard is it?

You can find them in salvage yards on 4wd Trackers and Sidekicks

You can get them used from Hawks Strictly Suzuki (google them) and other vendors.

Since the snap ring is behind the locking hub, all you have to do is remove the six bolts that hold the hub assembly to the hub itself - not the ones on the end of the locking hub.
