Are kicks and tracker power steering set ups the same and how hard are they to mount in a sammi.

The set ups are the same but I wouldn't know what is needed to install it in a Sami. Maybe one of the other Sami guys will give you some ideas.

They are pretty easy to mount to a sammy using a kit like the one from Trail Tough. One of the top mods to do in my opinion.

Samurai = V pulley, kicks are ribbed belt, so the pulley needs to be changed. Need a bracket. What sized tires you running, and what conditions?

most of the kits come with pulley , brackets , belt , and bolts needed

I have 33" boggers with 90% tread a locker up front and a mini spool in the back.I fine in the mud but this weekend I went to RC for the first time and found steering a little hard on the rocks.I have a complete 91 tracker with a 8v I could get the parts from..

33" aired down will nuke a trackick setup quick if you don't run an oil cooler. Not all kits include this. the lines & cooler should be $30 - $40 on ebay / junk yard / online.
