Title: Supercharged H25 and H27 is in the process
Post by: JDMCRX on August 20, 2008, 11:02:10 PM
Hey guys finaly got around to it. I started the Intake manifold for the blower to work with the 2.5 V6 for the vitara. We are hoping at 6psi 300 whp and at 10-12 psi 400whp.

If everthing goes well i may make a few kits . And it will clear the stock hood.

Pics of what i got so far ill start building the intake tomorrow

If you are taking names for persons interested in the H25 kit, add mine. The more complete the kit is, the better as far as I'm concerned.

OK guys.

Here it is . The intake manifold is not to bad of a challange to build few hours of fabbing and welding and the front engine bracket.

Now the engine management is the problem. I have a standalone. Im going to see what options i can figure out to keep the cost down. I can do a FIC and see from there.

Ill know more this week i get my flanges friday.

Now i have a member on the board that is going over seas tomorrow and is back in april or may Ill be putting a kit on his truck and do a how to. It will be a full bolt on.

To save money on the kits ill give you guys a part number on the blower i am using u can get at a wrecking yard or on ebay.

I sent an email but just want to make sure that this thread stays around. I'm really interested in putting this system in my Vitara. Think it will be ideal for that little extra power at low rpm I want on the trail. I still want to be among the 1st to put the supercharger and manifold together. Thanks, Gary

JDMCRX,

It will be interesting to see the Blower in action. You should be able to sustain some decent power with that H25. I dynoed my Turbo 2.7 at 413 WHP.  Keep me posted on your build.

The ECU might be remappable, most of the later ones are. Then you just need to change the map sensor for a 2-bar one. Can you post a pic of the PCB?

What are you forced-induction boys doing with the rest of the engine?

I though you might be running different pistons to lower the compression, what about rods, bottom end, cams, valve springs, porting, ect?

Stock bottom end should be good for 10-12 psi . There a closed deck block so sleeve shifting and cracking should be minamal.

Im not doing the blower tell next summer as im going out east tell july.2nd then i can tinker with this truck. I had 2 guys looking to hack the ecu and its not realy worth there time unless we did a huge group buy in. I can put in a standalone for less.

I had a brief look at one, its a standard processor and is hackable. If i can get my hands on one then I'll give it a go. I've got a couple of other projects on at present, including the Baleno/Jimny ECU and a knock sensor interface.

I can build a blower setup. But problem is fueling. Im going to try a few different ideas this summer when i get my house. I have 2 trucks next summer. One will be a single turbo setup and other with be SC.

It's all about propane. The mixers were literally designed to work under boost. And, it's cheap hi-octane fuel.

This thread is full of win and awesome and i just had to post in it.

If you're planning on making a kit for the sc, then would it be possible to make one for your long-tube headers as well including the high-flow cats  ;D

If you put somethin like that together count me in. There are still no aftermarket headers out there for our v6s :-\

This design is not going to work with a stock hood. This intake manifold has 3 intercooler cores im going to make a new upper with only 2 cores to lower it down 1.5"
