So today the wife drove downstate for a week leaving me with a large
"honey do" list. However a few hours later she calls me and says the
AC won't come on...but she's down there and I'm up here.
I've verified that the AC light is lit inside the push button and the
temp controls are all the way into the cold side. She says it just
blows air, not cold AC "quality" air.
The light isn't blinking but I dunno if these do that when there is an
issue with the AC system. Low charge? Anything I should have her check?

is the belt broken
-
Well...being a serpentine belt setup it would have overheated by now if it had...
-
i just looked at mine the belt runs the a/c and power steering so if she can turn must be good
-
Ummm the belt should run everything too. Water pump, power steering, and ac.

You've got two belts.

Check the fuse in the engine bay. I've killed mine after washing the XL-7 (dam pressure washer ::) )

Damn, guess I never noticed two belts. How'd they fit that in there?
