Title: 8v Tracker clutch pedal

I have a 1990 geo tracker ant the spline shaft broke on the pedal.  Does anyone have instructions on how to drop that pedal assembly and also does someone have a pedal assembly for sale.  i need one pdq.  this is my vehicle i drive back and forth to work.   thanks in advanced

you actually broke that shaft all the pedals ride on?! Wow. I'm not much help, but I thought I was up sh*t creek when the clutch cable popped off the arm!

BTW if you broke the pedal shaft, you should check the clutch cable it might be seize..

if u can move the cable whats the problem then jlust hook it up to the e brake handle :laugh: i belive to remove the assy u have to pull the dash out

BTW don't remove all the assembly, just remove the pedal..

i got it all back together today and running,  But now the idle goes from 800 to 1500 and back down to 800.  I unhooked the computer to get the pedal out.  But it is running Alot better then what it was doing. I had no power before.  the blue connecter on the computer was loose so fixed that

i would drive it for awhile the comp may just be learining from being unpluged  ???

well i drove it home and after it is warmed up it idles fine then when u shut it off and start it it does it again.  also like i said it is running a lot better then what it did before i did that with the computer
