Hey yall i gots a question for ya. I have a 87 jx with toyota axles under it. The brakes work ok but im thinking that i need to get a bigger master cylinder for the axles.
i have a *8 inch front and a LC rear with 4 wheel cylinders. i dont kn ow if my master cylinder is able to push enough fluid for my brakes and im hoping some one here has had the same problem and mite have a solution for me, or some good advise.
Also has anyone had a porportioning valve go out and if so how did the brakes act?
thanks a bunch.

When my proportioning valve let go I lost my back brakes.I thought I had lost a wheel cylinder or something but it was the valve.

Alot of good info in this buildup. But a good write up on swapping master cylinders.
