Title: Samurai/GTi engine radiator lines
Post by: locost7018 on December 16, 2007, 04:53:45 PM
To the Samurai people on this list. How did you get the coolant lines from the rear of the GTi engine to the radiator? Did you just use a rubber "U" bend or something fancier like cast ali. elbows, etc.? Russ

It would be a long while before I could post pic's. On a GTi engine in a rear drive application the water in and out are at the rear of the engine and need to turn 180deg to go to a front mounted radiator. I thought, maybe, the Samurai guys maybe used some of the parts from their old engine to turn them around. I have never seen a Samurai engine to see how they are plumbed. I have a GTi engine and a Samurai trans that I am using in a non Suzuki car called a Locost. It is a Lotus 7 replica. Russ
