Sorry to bring this up on this site. I have read all the past posts I could find about this but I did not find all of my answers. Here is a very short yes and no list of what I should or should not do. This is what I have upgraded so far on the engine: A new weber carb, a Doug Thorley header, 3inch spring lift. I believe I am going to buy Calmini's engine swap kit and a new clutch.
Do I need a body lift?
Use the 1.3 flywheel for swap?
Can I use the 1.3 head so my weber carb and header bolt up. Or will the 1.6 work?
Do I use the 1.6 starter?
and if you can think of any other hint or suggestion please let me know
thanks

ok, u need..... 1.6 starter, and alt.
1.3 flywheel.
1.3 intake manifold and carb will bolt right to the 1.6 head.
1.3 exhaust manifold will bolt up, or get a header.
if u don't have a lift already, u might have hood clearance issues, body lift will work, but i think that the motor works from lowrange or petro works will drop the motor down lower. just get the kit for 260, comes with everything u need. adapter plate, trans mount, and motor mounts.
did i miss anything?

blknight87,
thanks for the info. I already have a 3 inch spring lift from Calmini and a Doug Thorley header with a weber carb.. so I hope I do not have to do anything.. I had planned on buying the motor conversion kit from Calmini. Do you think I should order from petro works instead? I get a slight discount from Calmini.

Uhhmmmm.......
Check out the line below the photo.

Almost any conversion kit offered by almost any company will do the same thing but there are slight differences in them. And don't forget the electric fuel pump if you start piecing things together. ;D
And it sounds like you have the same goodies on your 1.3 that I have. Now I just need to make the time to do the swap and get the parts off of the shelf.
Editad for crummie scpeling
