I found some nice jeep wheels with tires local but wanted to post a question. I forget the exact specifics of the tire but know they are 30's on some nice newer jeep rims. Since I haven't lifted my samurai yet (but still thinking about it), will 30's fit on my Samurai without a lift or would I have to do something. Will I have rub issues? Would I need to do some sort of temporary shackle lift?
I just want to make sure they would fit without having to go crazy on other mods right now.

They might fit, I ran 29's on a sammy with just alittle rubbing when fully turned. how wide are they?

The tire size is 30x9.5x15. I'm not even sure which wheel adapters to get or if I could put a narrower tire on the rims. They'll just look nice on my Sammy if I can get them to fit o.k.

Make sure that those wheels will fit, the newer jeeps went to a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt circle if I remember correctly. As far as fitting them, just go to Sky's site and pick up a 1 or 2 inch body lift and lay back the seems in the fenderwells and you should be good to go.

Will they bolt right up if they are the older ones? I always thought you had to have adapters or spacers.
Would the 1 inch body lift be enough? Or would I just have to try it first and then switch if it doesn't work. ???

That's the look I want. No spoa right? Are those the same width as the ones I'm looking at? Who has those springs at the most reasonable price?

Hawk has the O.M.E. 3 inch springs for just under $400.00 + shipping. I'm thinking about it.

The older wheels will fit as they have the same 5 on 5 1/2" bolt spacing. the newer models have 5 on 4 1/2" spacing IIRC.

They should fit stock with minimal rubbing. If they're older jeep wheels, they'll swap over just fine. There's some cheap SUSPENSION lifts you can look at - save your money for one of those. They actually lift the whole truck, and give better ground clearance... body lifts just clear room for tires (and they're a pain in the butt).
