Went out to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes with the local club on Saturday and had a blast. It had been raining and the sand was wet which helped out the little tracker quite a bit. Thought you might enjoy this little video.
Oops, I forgot to mention that there was another spot where we were jumping up hill. I was hitting jumps 30 feet long. Darn batteries in the camera died, just another thing to remember to pack for next time.
Enjoy!!

Thats pretty awesome

looks like a good time. Do you live close to the dunes?
-
Yeah, they are pretty close. I think it takes all of ten minutes to get out there from here.
It really was a kick in the pants. I wish that the little tracker had about 50 hp more, or about 500 lbs less weight. It makes me start to think about a 22R swap or maybe I need to start looking for a 1.6L 16V tracker or maybe a 2.0L version. For now I'll just have to take advantage of the wet sand when I can.
I'm not sold on the toyota swap because I'm sure that it would add extra weight. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep thinking and scheming untill it becomes unbearable.

Cool vid... We had a good time in the dunes in Oregon as well. The wet sand made it quite fun.

That makes me want to hit the dunes again SOON! Thanks for putting a video on with music that isn't laced with foul language.
BTW, is that in Idaho?
