some posts say yes and some say no.....im just wondering if i should get these for my 3" lift??
-
i dunno but i just put 94-04 mustang shocks in the back of my tracker with roughly 3inches of lift. perfect fit, about 1.5inches longer than the crown vics. another guy in the 99+ section has used 90-95 4runner shocks, they are another inch longer again! i looked at the f150's from munroe, they looked huge so i didn't even bother trying them... you should be able to order the procomps for cheap also, get the part # from the boondox site. i would have gone this route had there not been a 10 day wait.

well, i got it all done ;D.....the shocks that i ended up using are 1.500" longer than the crown vicks also....roughly 3" longer than the stock ones....i did some homework to come up with these things too!! not a clue what they are for...but the specs are 12.750 comp. and 21.500 ext. and the stock ones are 12.125 comp. and 18.250 ext. they ride nice too....like i said not a clue as to what they go on, but the part # is 5803 for monroe sensa tracs....i hate monroe, but love the lifetime warranty....i just swapped out my old crown vick shocks for these after i hung out in the parts store for the better half of an hour staring into the specs. book

that sounds like exactly the shocks I got (also don;t know what they apply to, but the specs seem the same).
if I were you, I'd max flex it and make sure they don;t extend TOO far ... (I ended up adding limit cables to keep my springs from falling out).

that was me. the 4-runner shocks are IMO perfect! the dampening is like stock (I tried ford E150 and have driven in a Crown-Vic equiped tracker and neither felt like stock to me).
Monroe part number #32248 (1990-1995 Toyota 4-Runner)
ends: S4/L3
compressed length: 12.875
extended length: 20.875

I have alittle over 3 inches of lift, and I didnt have to rotate the axle to get the shocks to fit. Its a tight fit but they fit.
