Title: Evans Creek Fun Run 8/18
Post by: Drone637 on August 12, 2007, 10:33:01 PM
Just a quick post on a run this weekend.  I'll be out there with at least one other Zuki, possible a second.  Depending on how work on the axles go this week.   ;D

Off Road Animals presents their 15th Annual Fun Run.

First Rig Out: 9:00 AM
Last Rig out: 1:00 PM

One easy run and one hard run to choose from.

Short wheel base vehicles suggested, winch advised.  All entries must be street legal with insurance.  Trail Passes are required by the Forest Service.

There will be Door Prizes, Cash Prizes, and an Auction.

No idea, I just picked up a flyer a while back and thought it might be fun.  If the trails don't look interesting there is nothing saying we can't just to run on our own.

Wrong month.  This was a while back.  :)

Actually broke some parts playing around.  I'm guessing metal fatigue as they went with a vengeance.  Blew a birf apart (no cracking, just a 2" chunk of metal blown out) and snapped a rear axle backing back down (splines where twisted something fierce on both of them).  Then when winching the tire was stuck and blew open the steering box.  Did all my breakage from over 3 years of wheeling in 5 minutes.  :)
