heres what happens when you put 12 quarts of oil into a suzuki forenza 2.0.

The owner's check engine light came on so she checked her oil, couldnt see the level because its a brand new car with only 800 miles so the oil was really light. she dumped 12 quarts into it then towed it to us because the engine started knocking. We drained the oil, replaces the spark plugs, and cleared the cylinders of oil then fired it up.

BTW the check engine light was on because of a P0455 emission system leak, caused by her gas cap being loose.

So yeah, you know if the oil submergises the crank it will foam and loose the hydrolic effect that protects the bearings... food for thought. I see a used trade in. NMc
