Title: Lockrite Locker Question

Planning on getting a lockrite, but should i get it with the side gears or without. Will it be quieter with the side gears?

your sidegears might be worn out, I'd get it just so you can finish the job you started

i have an 88 rear end sprung over with lock right locker, diff cap shock mounts $ 250 obo, in oregon!

Ive heard those lockright side gears are horrible.

I heard the same ur stock side gears should be good unless uve been doing alot of one wheel spinning.

Ive had mine in my truck for 1 year and i have over 13,000km on it and im on the gas alot not one prob.

alot quieter in the snow then dry pavment lol

get the cheaper one (use's stock side gears) incase you bend a housing,

i never replaced my side gears , i would say your would be fine unless its high miles but might be cheaper to build a second hand diff with your new locrite
