Title: can i swap 92 and 96 tracker trans without mods?

I have a 92 4door sidekick with 28k on it but it was rolled and i just came across a 96 tracker 4door with a perfect body but a blown motor, my question is since they are both the same in everyway except that one is an obd 1 and the other is an obd 2, are there different hook ups for the trans and tcase or in other words will this swap be successfull with out any problems? i want to swap the motor trans and tcase all in one since the 96 doner has 188k and the 92 only has 28k with ice cold air.

Haven't done it but I don't see a problem as long as you switch everything over.  I believe that the 96' has some different computer hook ups so I'm thinking that the worse case senerio is that you may have to switch your instrument panal as well as the moter, trans, etc...

i want to but it sounds like a pain, see if one of those hookers around there want to tackle it, i can come up with alittle cash and a running and driving samurai for wheeling with.

he allready ordered the waterpump tonight and will be installing it on thursday. i will ask him if he wants a small project. ;D
