The Nissan/Datsun 4wd truck and pathfinder have been IFS from the start. There is a Nissan Patrol(similar to the Toyota Landcruiser) and it has a straight axle in front, but it was never sold here.

Actually the nissan patrol was sold here, but in small quantaties. A solid, military style vehichle but was to hard core for its time. There are a few floating around here in Oregon.

I don't know what models you got over there but an early MK/MQ Patrol front could be a good one to use and the small Navara pickup here has a centered rear axle if you wanted. I know 4.6 ratios were available but beyond that I don't know. The offset rear with a Sammi t-case could be the go for gearing.

Some of the older Nissan/Datsun's had solid fronts, i saw one just yesterday, but i don't remember what side the drop is on it.

You'd probably have to use front and rear though to match the gear ratio.

The solid front axel on an USA nissan is news to me, but as far as streangth I know the rears are super solid with a 9.1 inch ring and pinion arrangment. I also just like Nissan.  So good luck.

Why not just get yota axle, you can find them pretty easy.

I wonder what years they sold the patrol here? If there is a solid axle datsun pickup, it must have been the 1979 model year, because my parents used to have a 1982 4wd datsun and it was IFS in front.

One of my old club members used to have a solid axel Datsun, it was actually a dealer option where a third party put a set of Jeep axels underneath it.

No idea about when the Nissan was brought into the US, but there is a nice one out by Ocean Shores I saw out there a few weeks ago while picking up a Scout.  :)
