Title: the pro comp shocks boondox sells
Post by: Maroon Monsoon on May 26, 2006, 06:41:12 PM
I want to get the 0-2 inch lift shocks they sell but I saw that they had a small diameter tube. Makes me wonder if I'd get a nice ride like a rancho or not

anyone have experience with them?

thanks

Just bolted them on my truck. Like the ride, a little stiffer. Rig feels "solid" compared to the old ones as the rig would shimmy sideways over train tracks etc, now that's gone away.

yea, sounds like they are just what I want. mine has a bit of shimmyness with the dinky golf kart shocks that came with it and once I have the trailer on it or something kind of heavy in the back it really craps out.

so on the boondox site it says $60 for them.. is that one shock or two?

thanks allot man, I think I really want those shocks now.. one more thing, how much longer are they than stock?

The ones I bought are for a two inch lift, check this link, you can buy them in different increments depending on your lift. Sold by the pair for $60.00 is a great price. :)

good to know they will ride just how I want it seems and it's $60 for the pair. I want the same ones you got because they say 0-2 inch lift so I assume they will work on my stock height rig and still give me more travel. I was wondering if you happened to measure the difference in length as you were installing them.

thanks for the input, I think I'll order them from boondox tomorrow if I can get around to it
