Title: Front and Rear WMS to WMS Measurements (Tracker)
Post by: kozaz on March 15, 2006, 12:13:56 PM
Stock Tracker Rear Axle WMS-WMS 58inches.

Track/kick front axle width is approx 55" wide

Is the Above WMS 55" correct?  I figured it would match the rear?

I want ot make sure I do not have this info wrong.

Thanks

The rear is definitely 58 inches wide. The front width varies on ride height. There are a lot of measurements on this in several threads if you wanted to read more. Search for the "WMS" phrase.

I did search on "WMS", and all that came up was the Tracker rear WMS, and other vehicle WMSs.  I did not realize ther front WMS change when a lift was added.

I guess 55wms is the stock,  does the CALMINI 2 and 3 lift widen the front?

I pretty sure the Calmini3" lift does. The CVs are further extended by around an extra inch. In fact I tried the Calmini arms with my original springs and the driveshaft wouldn't reach the flange on the axle. The Calmini system seems to be designed to maintain stock wheelbase and track at rest, hence the longer rear arms too.
