I've been helping my brother-in-law work on his Tracker, I asked him if I could borrow his Chilton manual and do some reading, he hates reading. ::) He rather have the Toyota Guy tell him what to do. ;D
I came across the 2wd to 4wd Conversion chapter, the author lists the parts required and basically said it was pretty easy.
I was shocked to see such a subject in a chilton manual.
OK, I'm done Rambling.

That is interesting. ::)

My chiltons manual has that also. The only reason the 2wd can be converted to 4wd is due to the fact that the 2wd is just a 4wd without the front axle, CVs, front driveshaft, lockable hubs, and transfer case.

Thats pretty cool,
Mine is going to become a 4x4 soon...
I suck at welding though, probably going to get lift done first

That is interesting. ::)
Interesting enough for you to open the thread up, read it, and reply to it! ::)

I wouldn't really call it a section. More like a half a page which is basically just a list of parts that the author took off of a 4wd tracker and put on his 2wd tracker
