ive searched and searched and now im even more confused. 91 chevy tracker. stock r&p but anyone know the ratio? i stuck in a chevy 350 with a sm465 and np208 and it seems a bit slow on the top end.

If it was a manual trans Tracker, then the ratio is 5.12:1   ÂÂ
The set up you are describing would blow the cv joints, axles, r&p's, housings and everything else though....  too much power for way too small componants... I have obliterated D44's and 12 bolt GM stuff with a "granny" sm465 and 4.11:1's!!! NO WAY could you expect the tiny Suzuki axles to hold up to that power...

im not going to be keeping the stock stuff for long justtrying to work out a couple buggs. go ta toyota axle going in next week. and as for pics. http://monkeycage.island4x4.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22711 ill try to get a few more this week end,. thanks and yea it was a manual.

Yeah, you got 5.12's....  pretty low for a small block and the weight of a Tracker... :D

seeing as i dont know if i can send a pic on here then yep OD as well it used to be yellow with a purple windsurfer and lepord seat covers when i got it.

That is crazy!!!I thought a 4.3 would kill a tracker...The good old small block,I think they sould be in every thing!!! I've got hundreds of ????????? for you. I'm going to PM you a list...LOL
