Post by: superspook01 on March 09, 2006, 12:49:09 PM
ive searched and searched and now im even more confused. 91 chevy tracker. stock r&p but anyone know the ratio? i stuck in a chevy 350 with a sm465 and np208 and it seems a bit slow on the top end.

LOL.... PICTURES...

SHOW US PICTURES!

If it was a manual trans Tracker, then the ratio is 5.12:1

The set up you are describing would blow the cv joints, axles, r&p's, housings and everything else though....   too much power for way too small componants...  I have obliterated D44's and 12 bolt GM stuff with a "granny" sm465 and 4.11:1's!!!  NO WAY could you expect the tiny Suzuki axles to hold up to that power...

LOL, that thing is insane.. I wanna see  a video of it when you get it done...!!!!

Yeah, you got 5.12's....    pretty low for a small block and the weight of a Tracker... :D
