39.5's ?
you guys are nuts
that will be very cool stan, to see on a tracker, but i must ask......WHY??
what are you trying to accomplish besides more ground clearance?
dont you run out of turning radius sooner or later?

i dont know the exact length but its 3" longer than a stock kick, i have a f-150 9" in the rear & same width in the front. its still on coils & very stable on 37's.  no just crazy i guess :P & because it would be bad  azzzzz.   stan

Hello,

What are you on??? Can you FED-EX me some??? Got any pics on the 37's???
OMG a track/kick on 39's that's crazy....Everyone around here thought mine was crazy on 30x9.50 wait till it's on 33's  These guy's think they are cool with fullsizes on 33-36. My fullsize will do 25 mph smokey burnouts....Kinda helps its got |removethispart|@ 400 hp racecar motor in it with 1500-5500 rpm cam...will run 75mph in second|removethispart|@5800 rpm....Pull the racecar at over 100mph it's got 33's and 3.08 gears. Wish the tracker could do that....

;D I gotta see this thing when you get done. That would rock!!!! My biggest concern would be
how to get it properly geard?? Didn't you max out the Ford 9's when you did the 37'S????

Are you going to do it on your yellow rig or are youstarting another project?

yes 39.5x16.50x15 pit bulls , i was thinking about doin it to the yellow rig . but dont know if i could get it done before moab. i want to help mike get the orange rig done so he brings it to moab instead of the star. i still have gear ratio room at 6.50's now could go to 7.17 i think thats the lowest. i may just save the 39's for the deathstar. i just thought the yellow rig would be awsome that way. instead of havin 2 rigs.   stan

Thats cool. For some reason I thought you were already maxed out on the gearing. That would be cool as hell. I would loce to see the Yellow Rig or any Kick running around on 39's  8)

My vote is yes. I know you well enough to know that if its on your mind its gonna happen sooner or later... might as well make it sooner. You've got a month till Moab still. Thats plenty of time to get the bugs worked out. I think you should focus on fender trimming instead of lifting it.  If need be stretch the front frame one inch to keep it out of the floorboards and mabey stretch the rear 2 inches just for the added wheelbase.

I would stay with the 37s.  There is such thing as too big.  Club I wheel with, a lot of us are on 38 and largers and 1 guy with 42s and another on 52s with ZF axles.  If I would do 39.5s on a Track/Kick I think I would go about 66" WMS - WMS axles and stretch the front 3 and 6 in the rear.

Its got a mean stance now, I think 39.5s would hinder more than help.

a freind of mine is building an old cherokee that he's putting a mail jeep body on and he's using 39.5 pitbulls. that is such a gnarly tire! he spent like 1500 on them not mounted if I remember right.

sweet. I don't remember for sure what he payed but it was over 1k for 4 tires alone with no mounting at all. they are really awesome tires from what I understand and look BA as well. I think I saw on here that you had a 9 inch front and rear.. any chance of posting a pic of the front? was wondering how the swap with keeping IFS works out and what's involved.. Didn't even know it was possible to put a 9 inch in the front of an IFS rig. I really like your kick and I like the way you relocated your body mounts rather than using pucks or tubing. Allot more work I'm sure, getting everything exact, all the welding.. great job on that by the way... great job on the whole thing, the 9 fits great in the back and if you made those bumpers.. they are seriously freaking awesome, especially the back one... freaking amazing sidekick. first I've seen with 37's. 39.5s are going to be insane! :o

Hey Stan,
Can you and Mike get together and show off the mods on your Kick?

I think alot of us would like to see some close up pictures of the following:

Rear Suspension Arms  (I think I saw some long arms in a pic somewhere)
Rear Suspension Front Mounts
Rear Suspension other Links (if you have any)
Relocated Body Mounts.
And of course some pics of your front Ford9?

Your's and Mike's Kicks make me full of EnVy and AnGeR  ;D

Or, could you give us more detailed description and post in the Readers Ride Thread?
