Hello All,
I was thinking about stealing the tires off my full size rig to put on the Tracker...
How much fender trimming do you think I would have to do? It's got a 2" body and 1.5" spring spacers that lift it about 2". I still want it to be street legal.I got a buddy that has a set of AT on dodge truck wheels...AT's go to full size and the Wild Country RTV mud tires to tracker..
Quaddawgs trimming would be fine any more and it would look funny....It's got a custom frt baja bumper w/8000 lb winch and will soon have a custom back. It's got 5.13 gears so It will be a dog I know. Just waiting on finding the parts for the 4.3 V6 swap....then it will have a little more power ;D

How much trimming? Quite a bit... Here's a pic of the Green Goblin:

It's running 1-1/2" coil spacers, OME front struts and Crown Vic rear shocks, as well as a 4" body lift. Those are 33-10.50x15" swamper radials on 15x8" rims with 3-1/2" of backspacing. Even with that much lift, I had to hammer back the floor boards a little, flatten the pinchweld in the front wheel well, trim the back edge of the front fenders about 1-1/2" and trim the front edge of the rear wheelwells about 1", as well as bend the rear fender lip up in flush so it wouldn't cut the tread edge. I like them a lot better than the 31's I started with, though! Much more clearance...
