Hey everybody.
I got a crawler style bumper for my Zuki.
It uses the grote sealed lights in the rear.
My question is how to correctly wire them.
There are five in all.
4 red and a white b/u
I have researched the suzuki wire color/function but am unsure of where to connect them to these lights.
It must be simple, I see 6" oval lamps in just about every tractor/trailer around here.
The new pigtails have three leads on them.
White with a hoop connector, red, and black.
Any help on how to do this.
I am wiring retarded so if you could speak in laymans term it would help.
Thanks for any info.

You need a diode box ( trailer towing box for six lights into four lights or import to domestic lights) not too hard to do just get a test light and follow instructions.

So if I understand you correctly I have to buy a trailer diode box?
I cannot connect the pigtail to my existing Zuki wiring?
I know virtually nothing about wiring.
I thought it would be simple. :(

No trailer wiring adapter needed. That would be required if you were going from the 4 light system that suzukis have (not counting the reverse light) to a 2 light system of a trailer (having a dual filament bulb for brake/running/turn lights on each side). In this case you are going from 4 lights to 4 lights so no conversion. Have a read through here and this should answer your questions: http://www.izook.com/tech/samurai/bumper/shrockrearbumper/rearbumper2.htmÂÂ

Precisely what I was looking for.
Thanks very much for taking the time Ian.
Saved me a wild goose chase and shows me exactly what I needed to know with pics.
The Suzuki Gods are smiling down on you. ;D

ya but they don't look near as cool as four brake lights and two turn signal lights, you need all the help you can get around here.
