DOES ANYONE MAKE A COMPLETE REAR DISC CONVERSION KIT FOR THE SIDEKICK?

full floating axle...What does that mean?

The axle shaft supports no weight, the weight
is all supported by the axle housing.

This is the same setup as many 1 ton and 3/4
ton trucks, as well as all medium and heavy duty
trucks.

If you break an axle shaft, the wheel stays put,
doesn't come out or grind the axle shaft on the
housing inside.

That's the kit I used for mine. Needs sammi calipers and I used the front discs off a tracker. I have a line lock for my e-brake, and am getting this setup for the proportioning valve and residual valve. click here (http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.79/it.A/id.1207/.f)

I have rear discs on mine with Ford calipers. To get them to work properly I had to fit a disc/disc master cylinder. The disc/drum m/c doesn't push enough fluid to the back brakes. The proportioning valve works to some extent but all it really does is restrict the flow to the rear brakes so you get less power from them. They seem to work OK on Samurai conversions with Zuk front calipers because they lock up the rears with the discs on the back. I had the opposite problem, the rear brakes were quite ineffective. Because its a tandem m/c the additional pedal travel made the front brakes come in much later and I ran out of pedal travel before I could get full power from the fronts.
Edit:
To add to that there are two different sizes of m/c and mine was the smaller one so this may be less of an issue with the bigger version.

How do you set up e-brakes for the rear disc?

You have to use a Line Lock or get a setup from a Subaru, which works if your using their calipers.  :)

With the Sammy you can just find an old SJ-410 E-brake kit or buy a driveline brake setup, I think Trail Tough makes it.  Not sure though.
