Just say Fawk the stock case and get one of these.
http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/Atlas-4-Speed-Transfer-Case-p-3152.html

No more gearing problems. :D

Is someone trying to get their hands on a used Sidekick 4:1  :-\  ;). Not gonna happen on this build  ;)

I would rather spend the money on parts I need instead of want to complete the project. Already having a 4:1 and a V-6+Tranny that will bolt streight up to it, I really dont need a T-Case. Plus with the Auto, 4:1 and 5.83's, I dont think I will have gearing options. Plus, if the stock T-Cases can hold up to Hagens set up and driving, I think it wil hold up to mine.

I considered building the X before I sold it to you, but it was in to good of shape to start hacking up, plus the first time you flopped it over, you will waste a lot of hard to find parts and probably wont be able to replace it.

If I built what I am wanting, it would look like that, with MUCH bigger tires and one of those scary ass huge lifts that should never be driven.  :P

I talked to tt the other day and they said that their prototype gear reduction is due in soon for the tracker/sidekick. It will set after the trans before the t case and is 3" wide this will also reduce high range
and will sell for about 800.00 with the 4 to1 gear it should reduce low to about 6 to 1.
this would help as a dd using a stock gear.
95 tracker:  5.12 gears, 4:1 calmini t/c gear, locked front and rear, 6'' calmini lift, header, flowmaster, 31x10.50x15, beadlocks

Thanks for the info! I believe that I will be geared low enough with the 4:1, 5.83's and an auto tranny, but if looks like a need for more gear, I will definately look into this.
