I'm chasing Sammi's and Kick's to find a good deal with basic mods----This one sounds as it must be a Sammi with Kick engine---What do you guys think of this

990 SUZUKI SAMURAI JL, Rare fuel injection Suzuki Samurai JL, recent Low milage japanese 1.6 litre engine installation...Runs Purfect. New JP eater LIFT KIT.... from Rocky Road Suspension, along with springover conversion on YJ leaf springs. 2" body lift, for a total of 10" lift. nice interior seats and door panels.. Clean original paint, with virtually NO Rust. New Softtop, This Samurai Runs Great. Awsome 4x4....... $2999.obo.......

Looks like a good deal to me for the sum of the parts you will be receiving, especially if it doesn't look to have been wheeled hard.  It is probably an 8v motor, but would be nice to know for sure.  A completed 16V conversion running in a Sami would make it more desirable, to me anyway. 

IMO I would get rid of the body lift.  Those look to be 31's on stock samurai axles.  The body lift does nothing to help the wheelability of the rig.  It raises the COG and makes it easier to tip over.  And the 31's should fit with the SPOA/Wrangler spring conversion with little or no bumper/fender trimming.

WAY too much lift for those tires. Expect to sink another $600 or so for gearing, and check the vehicle over really well - or have a mechanic do it if you don't know what you're doing.

looks awesome for 3 grand.....lose the body lift though.  I recently witnessed an unfortunate soul by the name of SNJSAMMY roll his lifted Samurai.  You want that center of gravity as low as you can get it.

The "rare" part is the engine transplant.  FI 1.6 engines are not unusual except in a Samurai.

It looks like an 8-valve.  Only by checking the displacement cast into the block (driver's side rear edge)can one tell for sure. The PO may be having engine electrical problems - something that can be solved with time and patience.  Be sure to check out the running condition of the engine!  If there IS a problem with engine electrics, don't be afraid to talk down the price!  The worse he can say is no.

take the body lift out and I'd put it back to SUA. With the YJ kit you should have enough lift to clear 31's. 10" is way too much for 31's and if you put on some tires to fill the void you'll beed to tackle some gearing issues.

Depending on the wheeling style you should put in some 462's and if you want to wheel hard then I'd swap in some 512's.
 
I've been wheeling zukes for over 10 years and 31's are enough for around here and for the terrain we run. I actually took the SOA out and went back to SUA on my 413K due to the cops getting pretty bad about "home made" lifts.
