X90 t-case noise
« on: March 04, 2006, 02:27:13 PM »
Hello all.   I just installed  a calmini 6 inch combo lift on my x-90.   I am getting a wikkid noise from the t-case at 40 k/h and up.   Sounds like the chain is binding.   At first I thought I took the bearings out for 4th and 5th.

I swaped out the tranny and tcase with another and the sound is still there.   I thinking incorrect pinion angle.    I heard there maybe an update for the adjuster.  You guyz encounter this problem or have a fix?   I have the 5 inch combo on my tracker and had no driveline problems.

I guess the extra inch was too much.
DIY so ya can pay me to do it right later.

If you get a chance it'd be cool if you could post some pictures of it on the X-90 Owners Club website at:

http://x90.zukiweb.com/bbs/index.php

Plus you might get some X-specf help there as most the modded X's post there.....
