I like my 6.4's, I think I piss a few of the jeep guys off behind me on a club run when a jeep gets stuck in a mud hole in front of me and I put it in first gear low range and Idle through it in about two minutes  ;D

If I remember correctly it has a 1.63 high range, so it's great for the street, the old 4.89's had a 1.8 high range(same as tracker low range) that are kinda high if you like low gears on the street.

Holy crap talk about low gears!! :o ive never driven anything geared that low other than an old ass tractor!!! it sure turned that little zuk into a mean machine though!! i wasnt sure how that little motor would do, but after we got a decent carb on it and the gears in the Tcase its blowing my freakin mind!!! Im a full size guy myself, but i have no doubt that zuk will have no problem going where my F-250 goes, heck, it will most likely go places i cant!!!! BTW, this is the guy with the duct tape bandaid in the pic above.....
I thought there was NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT, until i drove a Zuk with 6.4:1 gears in the transfercase...

Was just gonna mention about the duct tape-aid. I find electrical tape comes off easier and doesn't leave a residue.
