Why does every one put chevy motors in japenese cars?
It is the motor and drivetrain that make a japenese car as good as it is. A lot of people do this to the 1980s toyota pickups, which came with very well made engines (20r, 22r, 22re, 22rte) that didnt make the most power, but got the job done, and lasted forever. I think the idea of swapping the samurai engine is a good idea, but it is best to swap in the 1.6 just to keep the parts interchangeable and vehicle still a suzuki, not a chevy or ford
