what a suprize the zuk made it threw quicker and easier than the exploder ;) ;)

Don't knock the Explorers too much.  They do quite well off road when they have lockers and bigger tires.  The only X that was with us that was much over stock is the big white one, and that thing goes just about anywhere!  The other explorers all had open diffs and close to street tires.  I regularly wheel with a bunch of Explorers (I used to wheel mine), that are quite capable of trails like Rattler at Paragon.

That rut we went around swallowed up a CJ on 38's and locked on both axles.  Every single vehicle that went in had to be either strapped or winched out.  I thought about trying it, but decided I didn't want that much mud on the Zuk.
