which bumpers to get
« on: December 10, 2009, 06:25:42 AM »
Do anyone have pictures of the ZOR Dominator bumpers and Double Tough bumpers from LRO on a tracker with a 3" body lift. I'm trying to decide on which ones to get. I'd like to see some fitment pics.

I know they're not on your list, but my Calmini front and rear bumpers are absolutely everything I could ask for, and more.

I do like the Calmini bumpers but they are way out of my price range. Does anyone around Ohio or West Virginia have expirience making Tracker bumpers?

Do I hear Jingle Bells?  Maybe some Jolly Old Fat Guy with a Flying Sleigh will drom them down your chimney...and crack your hearth!!!
My God those things are heavy!  When the UPS guy delivered the rear swing-arm bumper, the box was damaged, and he said "I hope there's no damage to the stuff inside", to which my wife replied "if the stuff inside is damaged, we've got some serious problems!"

Obviously, they're bullet-proof.  And bomb-proof, and Cadillac proof.  And Moab-proof.

I'm absolutely in love with the way the Calmiini bumpers look, but I have had nothing but trouble with the rear swing away.  The entire bumper & swing arm was so out of whack, they had to send a complete replacement.  And the replacement was defective too!  Had to modify the latch to get it to work and it still doesn't operate smoothly.  Quite a disappointment considering the cost.

Oh and I purchased mine through Low Range Offroad.  After all the troubles with the bumper, I asked if I could get any discount on my next $500+ order of Samurai parts.  He said no cause it wasn't his fault the bumpers were messed up!  I went back to Trail Tough for the Samurai parts and they gave me a better deal too!
