I drove my sidekick/vitara all summer offroad, and as a DD, never really noticed anything wrong, i suppose i was used to it. But i've just returned from 4 months at college, gave it a wazz yesterday, and cant help but notice how unsmooth accelerating is...
changing gear takes some interesting gas pedal work to keep smooth, and if i accelerate too harshly it judders as if it's trying to catch up with itself :S
On idle too, generally the whole car shakes more than i thikn it should ( i had all the engine mounts changed back in the summer trying to solve this, but barely improved it, and as i said, after not driving it for so long, i really notice it now) Dont know whether this is connected?
Its an 8v 1.6, calmini rear part of the exhaust, no cat (maybe this is the reason :S), only 1.5" spacers lifting it. I dont have a clue what it could be...
Any ideas guys?
Cheers!
And Merry Christmas!!
