Locking hubs maintenance
« on: December 21, 2003, 02:47:32 AM »
I have a "96 geo tracker and want to service the hubs, would the chevy dealer have a kit for this project? If so what would it include and are any special tools needed? I was in some very deep water and now the hubs aren't aren't locking up, consequently when in 4wd. the front wheels  aren't turning.
any help/suggestions would be apreciated.
thanks

Just take them apart, clean them up, re-grease
them, put em back on, not much to service in there.
