Yes, that's exactly what they are.  When you see the difference in the diameter of the CV joints next to each other you can start to understand how they are able to live in the light weight track-kicks with 34" - 39" tires.

Something your going to start producing?

Not at this time.  I've got to get r&d for this set done first.  I'm sure that this conversion will take some time to get done.  I get only limited time to work on my rig so it's going to be one small step at a time.

From what little is out there in the public domain about this conversion you can either do it with the Hagen widening or with out.  I still need to decide on this aspect of the build.  If I do it with out the widening then the adapter flanges will be welded directly to the axle shafts that plug into the differential.

Doing it with the widening then, if I understand things correctly, you can build a bolt on adapter.  This style uses a d/s three bolt flange welded on to the axle stub on the p/s and then uses an adapter to bolt between the three bolt flange and the toyota CV axle.

The other components needed for the conversion are a brass bushing for the back of the knuckle where the cv enters and a spacer to go between the hub and the new toyota lock out hub.

Has anyone done this conversion independent of Stan's kit?  If so I would like to discuss this with you.  If you've done this conversion with Stan's kit I would prefer not to receive information from you.  No offense, but I have a great deal of respect for Stan and what he has done.  I know that he has many, many hours into developing the kit that he has for sale and the last thing that I want to do is infringe on the work that he has accomplished.

Thanks guys!!  Hope that everybody is having a good weekend.
