ok, lets just say i have a friend that works in a machine shop and can make me a front skid plate for real cheap.  where does the stock one mount to and does anyone know the dimensions i should use?

If your friend owns a machine shop, it shouldn't be hard for him to look at the above pics, figure out the mounting points, take measurements and get to fabricating.

well see he's about an hour away and i don't get out his way too often.  it'd just be easier to be able to give him some dimensions and then go pick it up.  but it's ok.  i'll go look around myself and see where i can bolt one up.
