whick is dumb, i always hear all the US companies and people (me included) bitching about loosing jobs to the overseas market and here i go looking over the pond because the US company is giving me the runaround.  dumb.
has anyone ever delt with 4xfourart or know anything about them?  i am calling monday and asking how much 360 euros is in green backs and what shipping costs and who makes their gears.  would be a laugh if it was Richmond.  i am a bit leary about going there.  but if my car aint on the road in a month i will have missed 4 of my clubs events including our anual find raiser and my woman will have kicked me out. :o :'( :P  "dont worry dear", i said "Calimini said the other gears will be here in a few more weeks" i said.  no i look like an ass. >:(

sorry to be so pissed and vent so much.  i dont mind getting craped on once or twice but i am up to 4 times now.....

thank you Dr. Zukiworld, i will get off the couch now.... ;D

Well guys, I completely feel your frustration. A couple of years ago this happened when I was ordering 5.83s too and the same thing happened. Here is the problem. Calmini outsources the gears. Screaming at Calmini isnt going to do any good. Bashing them on the board isnt doing any good either. Calmini is obviosly waiting on Richmond to make the gears. I can just imagin whats going on at Richmond... So should we make the 100 sets of 5.83s for Calmini or the 8,000 sets of 5.12 nine inch gears for Summit?..... Obviosly the 5.83 order is not thier big priority. I think we should be happy someone is making 5.83s at all. However, this may be a lesson learned and mabey they will make larger orders in the future so they dont run out. :-/

after a post like that , if I was Calmini, I would refuse to sell you the gears when I did get them. You need more than gears, you need a life, I would put those gears in your rear end.

It does suck you cant get your gears, especially with your front already done, but you've gotta take a BBB report with a grain of salt. the BBB only hears form dis-satisfied customers. I have delt with them for over 10 years now, and have never been dissapointed in a product they sale. Some items have taken a while to get. If I did not already sell my Zuk 5.83 rear gears I would send them to you. I'll keep my eye out on other BBS and ebay and see if I can find any.

yah, your right.  i felt a lil weird after i posted it.  really.  so let me apologize to whoever didnt think that was cool, including Calmini.

2 things, i love calminis products and have gone out of my way to defend them several times.  and i order something from them pretty much every year, so that should say something.

2nd, i think that anyone who deals with them long distance and 3 or 4 times finds that customer service sucks.  thats all the BBB report said anyway, 'good product bad service'.  and service is big with me, maybe to big.  as i said before 'just TELL people!'

and yet another reason to feel like a dip!   :-/  after posting last night, this morning i get an offer from someone at zuwharrie to sell me a used set.  k?  now i couldnt feel worse.

Thank you everyone for your support and input and 'honesty'!!  i will let you know how things turn out.

EDIT: i removed that report, it was to much, when was the last time anyone called MickyDs from the road to tell them how good their drive thru service was...... bad Karma man, bad Karma.
