Theres an article somewhere (Dutch site?) that shows how to fit a 4 speed (IIRC) Volvo gearbox between the gearbox and tcase of an SJ as a gear reduction box. I'm pretty sure it was a 410 because they used the shorter 4 spd gearbox from a Bedford Rascal (SH410 micro van thing).
I'll see if I can find it cos otherwise you'll never understand what I'm talking about, lol.

100 series volvos are pretty rare here in the states. The more common ones are the 200 series(ie 240,242, 244 DL/GL/ and turbo models) and the 700 series(740, 760, and 740 turbo models) most of the volvos I hve seen came with auto trans. The 4 speed and later 5 speeds are not as common.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)
