Upper Strut Retainer Flip

ok i have an 89 tracker on 32's with no lift and have heard that you can flip the front strut retainer for more lift... can someone please tell me how to do it

flipping the strut mounts will not give you any lift. the reason for doing this is to allow the strut to fully extend when the vehicle has been lifted, to keep proper suspension travel, and possibly keep from destroying the strut while flexing.  if you want a simple lift, put in some coil spacers, like Digger's lift kit

wird i was told flipping that will give you 1.5" of lift

think i seen a post some were that said you could get 1" lift with the flip and adding a 1" like spacers between the ball joint and a arm. i don't like this type of lift ,but to each there own.

Flipping the strut doesn't give any more travel, it simply allows the front wheels to drop further which restores some sag to the suspension.
