well, i've almost finished my 89 2 door sidekick. at least for now. i have a rebuilt 8 valve 1.6L engine, stock 3 speed auto, 3" Calmini suspension lift, 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classis II wheels with 31x10.5R15 Dick Cepek Radial FC II tires, stock gears, new Bestop soft top, and Calmini performance exhaust with header. the only things i still want to add are a 12 bolt rear axle, 5.83 ring and pinion from Calmini, Calmini winch bumper, winch, and maybe some lockers.

sounds like a cool rig. you can scrathc the 5.83's off your list calmini has not had those for a long time now. fron ts no problem back nogo

I waited over a year for 583 r/p to materialize from many a supposed source...I already had 583 front so my only recourse was to build a ford 9in which happens to be one of the few rear ends you can get 583 r/ps for.
