i've been working on my wifes zuke over the winter and I think the kids lost the key. Can you get a key made at a suzuki dealer?

You can get a replacement key from any competent key / locksmith... For Japanese cars the number needed for them to lookup and make a key is located on the right hand or "passenger" side door lock. Pull that out, and you'll see a number there... That's what they can reference and build you a key with... FWIW American, and I think European, cars are on the left hand or 'Drivers' side.

Good luck, Eric

The answer to your question might well depend on where you are and what Zuk your wife has.

European Zuks may be fitted with an immobilizer, which has to be paired with both the key & the ECU, otherwise it won't start.
