transfercase drop

because of the 7 inches od lift,I need to drop the tcase crossmember a bit to line things up.  what's the most drop before there are oiling issues in the tranny or tcase? 

would lucas oil additive help?

Are you dropping the entire t-case or just changing the angle a bit?

changing the angle by leaving the engine mounts wjhere they are and lowering the tranny mount.
