Price seems o.k. Wonder if it's strictly bolt on, and how the Calamini and the Rocky Road lifts compare. I'm also not understanding what they're saying about shackle reversal kits. Sounds like they advise against them. There's also a caption below a picture I think about some dude's rig with this kit and extended shackles. Are they advising to do the kit along with some extended shackles to get the lift you want?

been running the shackle reverse for 6 years. never had a problem. personaly i don't like the shackles sticking way out front to smack on the rocks. i don't think any good company would badmouth another. maybe its because they can't biuld a shackle reverse kit. they say it make them handle wrong. mine handles great and the tires don't rub at all. 31 x 10.50 x 16". they all have trouble with shipping . i don't think they can make the parts fast enough to keep up with the demand. theres to many of us nuts out here driving zuks. my opinion for what its worth

It seems as if rocky road deosn't care for them too much. but anyway, it says everything is bolt-on. so we'll see. It seems a little pricey, but i trust rocky road more than calmini anyday.

  For the money and time spent to install these components I prefer the Calmini spoa bolt on kit. It provides excellent welds and fabrication, along with quality materials. It also has the shock mounts and bumpstops already factored in and welded. Bolts holding the perches are are captured and protected with their unique lower skids.  Only thing to factor is shocks, driveline spacers, and steering correction. 509.00 for the rro kit or  Calmini for 529.00. Pretty close, both have less than acceptable customer service and at times extremely long delivery times. Call first and see if they are in stock.

If you plan on keeping your sammie and your kidneys go with a yj type spring kit and be done with it, trail tough sells a real nice kit and will sell you new yj six pack springs for 60.00 ea. the main leaf on them is at least twice the thickness of a four or five pack spring so you git rid of most of your axel wrap and don't have to worrie about breaking them on the trail, the perches you want should not be tall at all, the closer to the axel tube the better, and the z bar thing for get that also and get the over the knuckle type, sky also has a nice kit and products for what you need, just from my trial and errors building a couple of sammies.
