I spent the money on the Old Man Emu ones and they are awesome!  I am very glad that I spent the money for them.

Thats my understanding.    or lift strut up in mount     or flip the top mount.
I am new here aswell and this is my first tracker.  So far am finding these little trucks pretty dam awsome.  A little worried about the power but it has to be better than my old SJ pick up with a .8L

well i looked in the diy section and i'm gonna flip the top strut mount ..... and put jeff's spacers on. i also got the 3" body lift from calmini so i'll have bout 5" of lift. my buddy built some sliders for his jeep and i'm putting them on mine so saved money on sliders.
where u located?

No. The strut mount flip re-locates the strut's range back to where it needs to be. If you want longer suspension travel, you need to get longer struts (OME is the only one I know of - I have them and love them) and longer springs (I have OME and love them, or you can get Ford 4x4 ranger / Honda Accord springs).

No, in the stock configuration the strut still has 2" of unused travel when the A-arm is against the bump stop. Lowering the strut allows you to utilise this travel. So a 2" strut spacer will give an extra 2" of travel - something like 44% more travel. This will be reduced if your springs compress fully before the bump stop is reached, a disadvantage of spacers over longer springs.

KYB GR-2s are nice for low cost stock length strut.  Cheap from RockAuto.com
