enough backspacing, enough lift???
« on: October 29, 2004, 12:45:58 PM »
gonna have a measly 2-2.5" lift on my trackick. The rims I have are 15x7 w/ 2.75" of BS.

I'm gonna fit 32's on it.

Cutting fenders I don't mind, but will I rub the frame or body tub???

Yes, you'll rub.

I'm sure you'll rubb alittle on the frame but who's doesn't? ;)
But you'll need to do some fender trimming. Just rim back to the floor boards. It'll give you some extra room too.

My 2" backspaced wheels were perfect.  I think someone is selling a set on the garage sale board ;D

I have 2.75 backspaced wheels and have no rubbing on the frame at all, just the back of the fender as hotrode mentioned.
