hey gruop. my 92 tracker has a 3in body lift and 2in tj coil spring spacers. i run 31 x 10.5 x 15 in tires. at home in the driveway the front tires at the top lean in. but i drive to work and park and they lean out.everything is tight and i have no movement in the front. any ideas?

Are you backing into one of these parking spots?

Ford trucks have IFS and the front will kinda squat when you back them up.

Check your alignment. You should have it realigned when lifting it. Keep an eye on your treadwear.

Fords lean in when backed up just in case you were wondering if it leans in or out.
I almost paid alot of money to find out what was wrong when a buddy of mine goes they do that it's normal.

exactly the correct answer the camber needs to be corrected. take it to a tire shop and they will tell u the same thing but they will tell u that u have no adjustment for camber on ur vehicle. that is why u must buy the camber bolts. however the camber bolts will not correct the problem intirely becuse they do not alow enough abjustment. u can either be happy with the correction they allow or grind the top hole in ur strut oval to be able to adjust. camber is how much the tire leans in and out. if ur friend has a newer ifs truck and it is lifted and it leans that is because the suspension lift was a cheep lift and it is not houlding the tire strainght or he may need to replace his bearings and ball joints. if it is twin Ibeam or ttb it is also out of alaignment and needs to be adjusted. yes the older fords do have some camber in and out as the suspension cycles but not just by backing up. win flexing on something, but defanetly noticable and full drop. the newer ford have a 2 a-arm setup which is suposed to hold the tire level throught the full range of motion. A TRACKER HAS A SINGLE A-ARM AND IT CAUSE IT TO MOVE TROUGH THE CAMBER ARCH AS IT MOVES UP AND DOWN. the trick is to get the camber set as level as possible for normal driving or ur tires will wear irregularly.

I have the RRO 1-1/8" coil spacers now and she still is alignable, but i want to put in Sky Manfact. 1.5" coil spacers....think that will still be alignable?

with my +1.5" spring and +1" rro spacers, I could get proper adjustment using the standard recommended cam bolt, whcih I installed and set to maximum adjustment.

I seem to remember that they offer a bigger adjustment bolt, but that shouldn't be necessary,

after all, you love your CV's don't you, and 2.5" extra is enough for them !

the tyres on my lwb vit still lean out at the top.
even after fitting camber bolts.
mind you it does have 4" of suspension lift.
but i have found that when its loaded up the tyres settle to the right camber.

1 3/4 is the most. the other cambolts have very small shafts and could break off if u tighten them down to much. however that is my opinion and i have been wrong before.

I think this is a problem with your alignment. If your toe in or toe out is off it will cause the camber to change which is more easily seen but the naked eye.Camber can change when you move in reverse or forward if it is way out. If you wheel it much the Idler will bend quite easily. The smallest Idler bend will cause a lot of toe change. Sky MFG make a bombproof Idler for just under $100.  Cheaper than getting it alligned all the time or even worse burning an expensive set of tires off.

yup, toe could cause this, but check camber first, and I guess toe is more expensive to correct
