I wanna go for a complete 2" right from manifold back, so I wont have to redo everything after the turbo upgrade, but I have an emmissions test due in 2 months.  if I go with a 2" cat, how will that affect the test outcome?  also, how long does the cheapie brands last? I remember a midas set rusting off in a single year when I was in highschool - 10 yrs ago. Worth the extra to go stainless?  

Muffler vise, I want quiet, but with an unmistakeable sound of power - yeah right, from a 1.6, but really, I dont want a turbo type muffler or a flowmaster 40.  Something just a hair louder then stock.

Any recommendations?
