i located a replacment motor just need some advice from some people who know more than me    i want to replace my 1.3 in a 4wd carb. sami with a 1.6  i found a motor owner says it is a 1.6 8 valve with a 2 wd trans on it  missing the fuel inj and harnes will this motor work for me or not i.e will my head work on the block or at least the intake and carb  and will my header fit the new motor any help is appriciated

Yes, that engine will work.

You will not need to swap over the samurai head onto the 1600. The 1300 intake and exhaust manifolds, including your header, will bolt right up to the 1600 head. However, you will need to run a low pressure, electric fuel pump for the carb. You will probably also need to do some minor work to the exhaust as well since the 1600 engine is about 2" taller.  Do a search on the web and you'll find all your answers.

You will need an adapter kit and if you're not running a lift then you will need to moidify the Samurai sump and cut and shut the two oil pick up pipes.

thanks i will see if ican get it still or i may just have to rebuild the ole 1.3
