Teaser pics of the ZOR Sidekick & Tracker rear bumpers
« on: September 27, 2008, 02:45:59 PM »
SO for the tease. I have just a plain jane* rear with a Class 3 receiver option that tucks way up and out of the way. I was going to add a skid plate but the receiver support bar turned out to do a fine job of protecting the rear of the tank already. D-rings not a problem. With the frame bars that support the rear there is plenty of strength to use D-rings. As soon as the pics are taken I plan on removing the shell and beginning the 2 door version. After I am happy with that I will post pics and begin work on the swing away tire carrier.

Current pricing I am  hitting is $250.95 for plain jane and $79.95 for the add on receiver (when sold with bumper). The reciever is bolt on, no welding. Can be added anytime. Can also be used with stock fiberglass bumper if you cut a slot for the reciever.

Tire carrier will be a frame and bumper supported bolt on. Can be added anytime to the ZOR kick bumpers.

The only thing I am not showing is the diamond plate cover plate that goes across the top of the bumper and bolts into the tub. That optional part will be flat for stock body height or z bent for 1",2" and 3" body lifts.

*By plain jane, I mean the bumper can be installed with out the receiver. I am trying to come up with a name for it, any suggestions?

Rear Kick/Tracker bumpers ordered now will be delivered by end of year or they will be free to paid buyers. 2 door & 4 door fronts available to ship now.

The 2 door version is going so well that I began work on the Tire Carrier. This is a pic of the main post (I know the grade 8 bolt is to long) & angle support tubing.

Looks great! Thinking about building anything for the gen 2?  ??? We've got skid plates, gears, lifts...no bumpers. My 99 would love the tire carrier option as I've already replaced a tailgate from tire weight.

Well it took me 2 years to get the front bumper out, 6 months to get this far with the rears. I suppose I will need to find a Viatara and get busy, LOL!

Oh! Oh! does this mean that I can quite emailing you every two months asking hows it going?

Cuz man I need one of those with D rings and the Jerrycan/tire rack.  I have been holding out in hopes that this would come out for the 2 door.

It is. Thanks for the reminders to put the time in to make it happen.
More pics as promised. This is Sean's (Lowrangeoffroad) new DOMINATOR rear with the Serenity Tire Carrier. Just waiting on some parts from Nathan to get it finished.

get that 2dr rear bumper going!!! waiting on you guys to order it. my only question with the rear bumper is if the hitch add on is DOT approved (wanting to tow with it and need it to be road legal)
if its not ill have to figure something out with a vitara hitch decaling... make it look legal... (stupid BC cops seeing an albertian truck with a trailer and need to pull it over to check it out)

I have a question.  Looking at how close that swing out tire rack is to the rear how will a Jerry can rack clear the tailgate latch?
